XXI: A Kiss Between Friends

"Irony" was the perfect word to describe Blake's Friday night. Unlike the past few weeks, she hadn't gone out, and she had finished up all her classwork for the weekend early. Blake pursed her lips for a moment. She hadn't really wanted to go out again so soon, but she hadn't really planned on doing anything else...
Marie flashed big puppy-dog eyes at her, and Blake sighed, "Fine, you win. You okay going to a gay club, though? Less guys there to recognize me and the girls that do are usually less creepy."
Marie smiled, "No problem. I can make sure everyone thinks you're taken if you'd like."
Blake felt her cheeks heat a bit at that, and saw Marie's do the same, wondering what exactly her friend had in mind.
Marie opened her mouth as if to say something then, but snapped it shut a moment later.
"What?"
"Can I dress you up and do your make-up?" Marie asked.
Blake laughed, "Sure, come on in. I should have something in here that I can wear."
